Tour of A Lifetime
Williston R, 02-01-2023
My tour guide, Vikrant, provided the most outstanding experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I left the tour feeling like I had made a new friend. Vikrant was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He went above and beyond to accommodate my wishes, and he shared fascinating information about the history of India along the way.

I had a chance to meet Vikrant’s business partner, Sameer, who also seems to share the same professionalism and friendliness. The day was filled with the incredible sights, foods, and history of Mumbai, all while being transported in a private vehicle with a great driver. My favorite stops included Chowpatty beach, Crawford Market, the CST Terminus (and a train ride!), and the Hanging Gardens. Vikrant even stopped at a sweet vendor because I told him I love sweets!

If you are hoping to have the experience of a lifetime with an amazing guide, I highly recommend booking this tour. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Mumbai and I hope to meet with Vikrant and his team again! Thank you, Vikrant!
All you’ll need in a day trip.

Vikrant was a great host. He was our guide for an all day tour. Though we were exhausted by the end of the day, we were well feed and we’ll informed. A great way to see Mumbai!

Incredible Mumbai Tour

Where do we start - from an on time pick up Sameer was attentive. knowledgeable, humorous and the perfect host for 10 hours!

Yes 10 hours - I'd give 1 star to the Mumbai traffic, but that's totally outside Sameer's control so just sit back and soak in life around you.

Visiting 3 temples, with extreme politeness on Sameer's part, we navigated the necessary customs required, (shoes off and ring the bell FORWARD) and although we are not particularly religious, you can't come to India and fail to take in and understand the complexity of Indian religion - fascinating and knowledgeable insight.

Dhobi Ghat (outside washing) and again Sameer gave good advice on how we deal with street hawkers (who after all are trying to make a living).

Followed then by a visit to Mahatma Gandhi's house/museum - we spent a good half hour here.

Then lunch at Govinda's International Vegetarian Restaurant - I for one (despite many visits to India) have never eaten an Indian meal - until today - thanks Sameer - it was delicious!

Then a trip to CST (railway terminus) and took a one stop station return journey - amazing experience.

Gateway of India was then visited and the history it reminds you of and then a visit to the Taj Hotel (and the story of how and why it was built).

Then to the Oval Maidan - evidence of the love of cricket quite clearly and a street where every house/home/office was of Art Deco style - a World Heritage Site.

Numerous Victorian and Art Deco buildings were also viewed en route to Marine Drive before heading up to the Hanging Gardens and its view of Mumbai.

A long but amazing and incredible day out and you couldn't have a better host than Sameer

One word of warning - if you do this tour don't do it as a "tick box" exercise to say you've visited Mumbai sights - immerse yourself in it and ask Sameer anything - anything and he will make your day much more enjoyable.
