I got picked up on time at my hotel, got a transfer to and from the Mumbai and Aurangabad airports without any issues.
The first full day was a visit to Ajanta Caves with my tour guide Deepak. It was an awesome experience and a great opportunity to learn about the ancient Buddhist caves. With his background in history, art, architecture and tourism, Deepak is extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information about Buddhism, the story of the caves, the carvings and the paintings!
The second full day we visited the Ellora caves and back in Aurangabad we went to visit Bibi Ka Maqbara (the so called Mini Taj of the Deccan) and Daulatabad Fort.
We stopped on the way to have some tea and had very good food for lunch and snacks!
I had a great time on this tour and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the people from Delhi Airport Service Private Limited for making this happen! Special thank you to my tour guide Deepak for the amazing time spent together and all the precious knowledge about the history of these places he shared with me!
