Mumbai By Dawn with Adi!

This is my second trip with No Footprints and Adi is an excellent guide whom I requested again. It’s a great way to see life in Mumbai. When I come back again I’ll do another tour with them and ask for Adi again! Very varied and interesting tour of all the morning markets. Adi is also a good photographer and makes memories along the way!

We lived in Bombay (now Mumbai) for many years, and took so many services for granted. Seeing it as a visitor, this tour really underlined how soooo many people work at keeping the city humming.

As residents years ago, we saw the fish seller and the fruit seller, with their baskets of fresh produce. We seldom saw the newspaper delivery man or the person who dropped off a packet of fresh flowers early in the morning.

On this tour, led by knowledgeable Aman Walia, we saw the wholesale fish market with its orchestrated chaos, the fruit and vegetables market, with both retail and wholesale buyers, and the flower market. We saw how the many newspapers printed in this city are custom packed for delivery to different areas. Fascinating, all of it. One knows it, but seeing it is something else!!

Would recommend this tour highly. It’s an early start but worth it!!
Loved our morning trip!

First time INDIA and with our Daughter of 17 and Son of 13. We had the most pleasant morning tour to all these exciting places like the fish market and flower market. Also loved the cricket field.

It’s early but worth it. You really see Mumbai waking up. Thanks Sreeya, best tour leader ever!
A different side of Mumbai !

We did the tour with our family who were visiting from the US. Adi (Aditya) was a great guide, who had lots of information to share and a great sense of humour ! Although I live in Mumbai, the tour took me to places I have never really been and helped see a different side to our Mumbai. We had 4 kids between 5-12 who loved it as well, despite the early morning start. Highly recommend NFP ! Looking forward to some of their other tours.
A new way to wake up to Mumbai!

I live in mumbai but I haven’t seen my city this way before. There are so many fascinating aspects of life in the city I had not explored or known of.
The bustling life early morning with the various markets and the efficiency with which it all works is amazing.
